Here’s the deal:
What I wanted was to lock all of the content behind a (free) email wall, but Substack doesn’t support that for free subscribers. There is an option to only publish said posts to free subscribers, but it keeps it out of the archive, which is unpleasant.
I want your money, but not for this. All of these posts will remain free and available.
Instead, I will occasionally include Steam keys in these newsletters. If you are not subscribed, and you don’t check the emails, there is a slim chance you will be able to claim one.
I also reserve the right to send these (and other content) out with my “Publish only to Free Subscribers [Email Only]” option. That said, I need to enable paid features for that radio button, but I want to clarify: I have no intention of putting up paid posts. Feel free to subscribe if you would like to support me, but more directly:
I want you to buy my games. Here is just where I talk to you about my games.
If you want to hear about these kinds of things, push this button:
Now that we’ve gotten past that, I’m currently working on a turn-based tactics game. It’s basically XCOM with airplanes. This adds an interesting twist where your movements are big commitments: Planes can’t go backwards.
I hope you’ll take a look and give it a wishlist:
Ok bye.
